Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information CarCostKit ("we", "us") handles when you use this website.

Information you enter

The values you type into our calculators (such as car price, interest rate or kilometres driven) are processed in your browser. We do not send them to a server and we do not store them. They are saved only in the web address (query string) of the page so you can bookmark or share your result. Anyone who has that link can see those values.

Accounts

We do not have user accounts or logins, and we do not collect names, phone numbers or email addresses through the calculators.

Local storage

We store your light or dark mode choice in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it. This stays on your device.

Advertising and cookies

We may show ads through third-party services such as Google AdSense. These vendors may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can manage ad personalisation through Google Ads Settings or your browser settings.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand which pages are popular. If we do, this policy will be updated.

Contact emails

If you email us, we use your address only to reply to you.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date above shows the latest version.
